Ulmus parvifolia Murrays Form (45lt)

Select form of Chinese Elm. A large stately tree with upright structure, semi-deciduous. Dark glossy green leaves are larger than other elm varieties. Colour changes to yellow in autumn and hold on tree for an extended period. Ornamental, greyish-brown peeling to brownish-red giving a mottled effect on older trees. Hardy, will tolerate wetness for short periods.
Posistion in full sun. Suited to most soil types with some moisture. Good for coastal positions.
