Description
The sage cultivar of choice, this variety is known as broad leaf sage for its large (up to 10cm), elliptical to oval grey-green leaves.
Plant in full sun in a well drained soil, raised garden bed or pot. Mulch with aged compost in autumn. Water regularly during establishment, then only as recquired as it has an aversion to wet feet. Prune regularly to maintain compactness and reduce woody growth. Can be short lived, beneficial to replace every 3 years.
