Description
Native to the Mediterranean, the Valonia Oak has a medium growth rate and spreading habit, a good shade tree when mature. In the right position it produces masses of large acorns from feathery green caps. Dark green serrated leaves are deciduous, considered a fire-wise tree.
Position in full sun, and well-draining, uncompacted soil. Summer drought tolerant.
