PODOCARPUS EMU PLUM BUSH BUSH FOOD (20CM)

The Emu Plum is a native Australian shrub, scientifically known as Podocarpus drouynianus, that produces edible, purple, grape-sized fruits. It is a large shrub found in southwestern Western Australia, with soft, narrow foliage often used in floral arrangements. The plant, which has both male and female plants, is well-adapted to local conditions, tolerates a range of positions from sun to shade, and is a hardy and valuable addition to native gardens.
