Melaleuca Little Red is a dwarf form, compact shrub that produces fragrant foliage. From April to October Melaleuca Little Red forms showy displays of brilliant purple-red new growth, contrasting from the soft grey-green. Melaleuca Little Red is ideal for a small, compact hedge. This variety can also be placed in rockeries, containers and mixed borders. Plant Melaleuca Little Red in an area of full sun to part shade positions, with well drained soils. Once established. Melaleuca Little Red is a hardy specimen and will tolerate drought and light frosts. Melaleuca Little Red is relatively low maintenance. Prune as desired to encourage dense growth. Only two days of watering needed once established. Melaleuca Little Red can grow to a height and width of 1 metre.
