Leucospermum 'Jupiter' is a striking evergreen protea hybrid known for its vibrant, large orange-red pincushion flowers. Plant in full sun with excellent airflow and well-draining soil. It tolerates coastal conditions well. Requires slightly acidic, gravelly or sandy soil (low pH). Do not plant in heavy, wet clays to avoid deadly root rot. Use only low-phosphorus fertilizers formulated for natives, as standard fertilizers are toxic to this plant.
