Description

Ficinia nodosa, or Knobby Club Rush, is a super tough, native Australian sedge known for its spiky green stems and distinctive round, knobby brown flower heads that appear most of the year, thriving in everything from wet swamps to dry dunes, making it perfect for erosion control, native gardens, and coastal landscapes. It's low-maintenance, drought/frost tolerant, and adds great texture, growing upright to about 1m tall.   Extremely tough; tolerates full sun, coastal winds, salt spray, light frost, drought, and heat. Adaptable to most soil from wet sand to dry conditions.
