Eremophila Purple Carpet (18cm)

Eremophila densifolia purple carpet is an excellent prostrate groundcover shrub with bright green foliage which changes to a reddish colour during flowering. Masses of small purple flowers from Spring to Summer. Grows in most well drained soils in full sun to part shade. Tolerant to medium frosts, this showy plant is ideal for low maintenance waterwise gardens and could be used as an informal lawn substitute. Flowers are bird attracting as well as insects come for the nectar. After flowering, prune to maintain shape. For best results use slow release native fertilisers.
