Pimelea ferruginea Bonne Petite (14cm)

A beautiful small shrub with small dark green glossy leaves and masses of magenta pink tubular flowers in spring. A great feature plant for rockeries, borders or pots. Attracts butterflies. It likes a well drained soil, and a sunny position to be at its best. Feed with a good native fertiliser in spring, watering in well afterwards to avoid leaf or root burn. It is naturally a compact growing plant, and pruning off the old flowers once they are finished will enhance the dense habit.
