Olive Manzanillo (20cm)

A relatively low, spreading olive tree that is a fairly regular annual bearer with fruit becoming ready early in the season. Fruit is ready for harvest from March through to September, and has a briney, nutty flavour, it is this variety you will find in martinis, and also one of the worlds favourite table olives. Manzanillo olives have one of the best pit to flesh ratios and high fruiting yeilds. Also known to produce good oil. An ideal addition to garden and landscapes as an attractive specimen, street or shade trees. They can also be used as a hedging plant, esplaier or potted specimen. Thriving in warm regions with cool winters. Extended dry, hot conditions during summer months will encourage fruit development. Olea 'Manzanillo' is relatively low maintenance, drought tolerant and easily adaptable to coastal conditions.
