Olive Kalamata (20cm)

The Kalamata olive tree (Olea europaea) is a famous Mediterranean evergreen prized for its striking silver-green foliage, twisted trunk, and large, almond-shaped fruit. Thriving in full sun and well-draining soil, it grows to roughly 4-6 m tall and requires a hot, dry climate. It is both drought and coastal-tolerant once established. Must be planted in free-draining soil. It handles poor or rocky soil well but does best with slightly alkaline pH. While self-fertile, yields increase notably when planted near another olive variety (like Manzanillo) for cross-pollination.
